Mallia, officially the Mallia; is a federal republic located in the southern region of Aeruvia. The country is divided into 14 provinces; it borders Terryfe to the east, Ịkẹvẹ to the northeast and Traule to the east. It shares additional maritime borders with Cring.
History
Mallia was formerly part of the Mâlbondə, a federeral republic also containing Ịkẹvẹ and Terryfe. It dissolved on 19 Laumánt 2187, leading to its own reastablishment as the nation of Mallia.
Prior to its dissolution on 19 Laumánt 2187, Mallia was part of the Mâlbondə alongside Ịkẹvẹ and Terryfe (which formed its own region).
Geography
Mallia is seperated from Terryfe via the Hauwiegən hæwígən (Terryfins: Auwiehən æwíhən) mountain range.
In the north of Mallia flows the Schallə sxallə, a major waterway that flows through the heart of the country. Both Euveldə and Wydcant are located along the river. The biggest tributary of the Schallə is the Massə massə.
Administrative Divisions
Mallia is divided into 14 provinces, each of which are divided into a number of municipalities.
Mallia also unofficially consists of two regions, Cempfebant kempfəbant and Lendeberch lendəberx, remnants of the former Malbond union with Ịkẹvẹ and Terryfe.
Government and Politics
Mallia operates as a parliamentary republic with a federal structure. The government is divided into three branches: legislative, judicial, and executive. The legislative capital is Wydcant, while the judicial and executive functions are centered in Euveldə.
Elections
The 771 members of the Greutmachəl grøtmaxəl (Lower Chamber) are elected to three year terms. Of those, 585 are elected in 14 multi-member constituencies, being the 14 provinces. Those geographical seats are allocated using the Sainte-Laguë method, with an electoral threshold of 5% per constituency. Apportionment of seats is done every five years in accordance with population data.
The other 186 members are elected using the D'Hondt method and a closed list, proportional representation, nationwide. The threshold of these seets are about 0.54% (1/186 of the total vote).

Political Parties
Mallian electoral politics lends itself to having many parties by design. Every province has its own local parties. In national politics, these parties tend to join an alliance and act as a single bloc.
Demographics
Languages
Mallian is the official language of Mallia, spoken by a grand majority of the population. Tagbolan and Terryfins are minority languages spoken in the north and east respectively from population exchanges with the other two countries back when they were one nation. In the north of Mallia (in the region of Cempfebant), the Cempfs dialect is broadly spoken.
In the absolute northwest of the country, Atheinən is broadly spoken by Kali immigrants, and is a recognized minority language.
Religions
Mallia is a secular state, with a majority of the population being atheist. A minority of about 20% practice still practice religion with their local pantheons.
