Victor «Wybe» Dister is the father of Jude, Cade, Coda, and Jade.
He's mainly a scientist, focused on genetical engineering.
Worked on CRISPR and the Human Genome Project early in his career, did his PhD on stem cells.
For unknown reasons, he is forced to hide from the government; and has been trying to find ways to be, less “human” to lessen the chances of being found.
This resulted in Wybe trying to create children with different bodily genetics (mainly focusing on the cardiovascular system) as genetic experiments[note 1].

He lost his right arm in some accident, and ended up getting custom prosthetics made.
He managed is own HRT
